About me
Haohan Xiao is currently an Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial Engineering, School of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering, Jinan University since 2023. Prior to this, he served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2020 to 2022. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2020, the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Wuhan University of Technology in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
His research focuses on operations management to the problems in transport and logistics, including platform operations, market design, and behavioral decision-making. He has chaired funding from various sources, including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation, Special Foundation for Key Research of Guangdong Universities, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. He has published several articles in leading transportation journals, including Transportation Research Part A/B/C/E, Transport Policy, and International Journal of Production Economics.
Dr. Xiao is actively engaged in professional services for research communities. He presently serves as a member of the Game Theory Branch of Operations Research Society of China, the Logistics and Supply Chain Innovation Alliance of the Greater Bay Area, and the World Transport Convention. He also provides reviewing services for multiple leading journals, including Transportation Research Part A/B/C/E, Journal of Transport Geography, Transport Policy, Transportation, Economics of Transportation, Research in Transportation Economics, International Journal of Production Economics, Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, etc.
